Calls for Parliament to hold Mkhwebane accountable for ‘racist’ remarks

Former Tshwane Mayor Cilliers Brink.
Zizi Kodwa and Jehan Mackay appear at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
JOHANNESBURG – Former Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, should face disciplinary action in Parliament.
Former Constitutional Court Justice, Johann Kriegler, says this will be the proper action for her racist remarks.
It comes after Mkhwebane blamed, what she called, ‘Indian persecutors’ for her problems.
That followed a decision by the Supreme Court of Appeal to strike her application off the roll.
Kriegler says Mkhwebane’s remarks are reckless and undermine the integrity of the judiciary.
