AMBER Alert: Texas 11-year-old found safe

ATHENS, Texas – An AMBER Alert has been discontinued for an 11-year-old girl out of Henderson County.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said the girl had been located and is safe.
The AMBER Alert was first issued on Friday afternoon.
The AMBER alert (America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response alert) was created in response to the kidnapping and death of nine year old Amber Hagerman of Arlington, Texas.
